categories stored in pictures / usage on other PCs

Hello,
Using XnView I have a big problem concerning categories:
I need to store these categories in a way that they stay active when pictures are copied to another PC: I use a workstation and two notebooks, every month new pictures are saved to the two notebooks for working on othe locations.

My question: how can I assign categories to pictures using checkboxes and save them "inside" the pictures?
Is there a way to write these categories to IPTC or to share XnView´s database on other PCs useing same folder structure?

Currently it's not possible, only XnViewMP can store categories into IPTC/XMP metadata

please compare here:

...XNView is close to portable as the folders are stored with driveletters and absolute paths in xnview.db and category.db.
I'd appreceate if this would be changed to relative paths like for example in the sld-files.
