Slide Show dialog has only 4 type of sorting method while Xnview Browser dialog 17 (with selection of sorting as ascending or descending): please put all these kind of sort methods in "Slide Show" dialog too, and do so that this dialog inherits the sort method selected in the main dialog.

True, but if I want to Slide Show a folder (without opening it) or multiple folders, the ordering is not followed.xnview wrote:You can sort files before to start slideshow...
Also, the option to sort "By Name" should be replaced by the one "By Name (numeric)", because I have some images with names 1.jpg, 2.jpg, ..., 10.jpg and with the sort method of Browser I get the correct sorting, with the one in Slide Show I get
1.jpg
10.jpg
2.jpg
and with more than 100 images it becomes a mess.
Can I also suggest to add the option to sort by folder then by name?
This way I could open different folders (in Slide Show) and sort first folders then files according to a sort method of my choice.
