Re-scan, scan in background or watch folder

I'm using an old version of Bridge manage my pictures. Now I'm searching for an alternative for me an some friends. I knew xnview for some years - now I've tried the xnvie mp - wow. I find, this is a really nice tool - also for my purposes. Work with keywords, categories and so on ist much more better than in xnview, I think. But I have a questions - sorry but I've found now answer here.

How can I refresh or rescan (i.E automatic scan picture-folder in background) my folder? For example I've changed some pictures in bridge or locr or any other tool (no new photos!!!! only new keyword or geo-taggs for exist photos!!!) but xnview shows only the "older" 4 photos instead 10 photos (4 old and 6 "new" with this keyword). I'm missing the possibility or the Button "re-scan", "scan in background", "search for changes".... or equal
I've found nothing of this - I'm wrong?

Ich nutze zur Bildverwaltung noch eine alte Version von Bridge, suche aber für mich und Freunde eine Alternative. Da ich xnview seit einiger Zeit kenne, habe ich jetzt xnview mp probiert - und bin begeistert. Die Verwaltung von bzw. mit Kategorien und Schlüsselwörtern funktioniert meiner Meinung nach wesentlich besser, als mit xnview. Trotzdem habe ich noch ein Problem:
wenn ich mit einem Programm etwas an den existierenden Fotos ändere (z.B. geo-taggs mit locr oder keywords mit einem anderen Programm) so wird das nicht xnview mp übernommen. Füge ich bei existierenden Fotos andere keywords oder Kategorien hinzu, so werden diese in xnview unter den entsprechenden Kategorien/Keywords nicht angezeigt. Hier fehlt die Möglichkeit, die Foto-Ordner im Hintergrund zu überwachen und/oder die Ordner neu zu scannen. Oder gibt es so was und ich übersah es?

I think, new files are added in categories with 0.38 - the numeber behind the categor is changing/growing. Ther is now othe sign for scanning in background. what ist with old file but new exif-information from an other tool (last changing from Phototools like gimp or tools like "locr" or "exif-viewer") Scan "only" for new files or for changed files too?
I try to check this next time...
