MP 0.38.7 Win: Crash when saving images
Here's how to reproduce on Windows XP:
Re: MP 0.38.7 Win: Crash when saving images
confirmed. also with capture tool + save.
Re: MP 0.38.7 Win: Crash when saving images
The crash is fixed in 0.38.8. However, there's a couple of minor issues that I mention here for evaluation.
If you paste an image from the clipboard, the Save as... dialog will always default to the XnView installation folder. I guess it would be better if it remembered the last used folder or perhaps to have it default to the folder currently open in the Browser tab.
Also, after you save the image, the tab title says <Empty>. It should be updated but considering the way XnView currently handles image modifications it may be intentional and not an issue at all.

Oh yes very true-g- wrote: If you paste an image from the clipboard, the Save as... dialog will always default to the XnView installation folder.

Again very true, tab title should get updated to newly saved filename...Also too updated with latest Tab thumbnail/icon too for whichever file-type it is saved to.-g- wrote: Also, after you save the image, the tab title says <Empty>.
