XnView's function to use an image as wallpaper does not provide the new Windows 7 (maybe Vista) setting "filled". While "fit best" shows the entire photo but leaves parts blank and "fit" changes the image's aspect ratio, "filled" cuts the image so the entire desktop is filled but the image's ratio is not changed. Very useful for large images. Example: Your image is 1600x1200 and your desktop is 1280x1024. Using "filled", the image will be downsized to 1365x1024 and only a 1280px wide piece will be used.
Not sure about the English names as I use the German Windows and XnView.
