Hi
is it possible to create a mosaic of a lot of small pictures with XnView? All these images have a size of 64x48 pixel and should be combined in one big image with 9 colums. Is this possible with XnView? Or do you know another software which can do this?

Re: Combine images to mosaic
If you want to create one large image out of several images, you can use "Tools->Create Panorama". Please note that in XnView, panorama images aren't 360 degrees images but several images merged together to one. XnView aligns the images side by side and merges them to a larger image. You can align the images horizontally or vertically. In the XnView online help, chapter "Create panorama images" you will find a sample image.Matthias wrote:... E.g. to create a 3x3 image mosaic you have to apply "Create panorama" four times:
- First merge (horizontal):
[1][2][3]
- Second merge (horizontal):
[4][5][6]
- Third merge (horizontal):
[7][8][9]
- Fourth merge (vertical)
[1][2][3]
[4][5][6]
[7][8][9]
Think this is pretty clear. Four a 9x9 image you have to do 10 merges (9 horizontal, 1 vertical). It's many steps but not too complicated. But if you want to create many mosaics, I think you better look for a software which provides a special function to do this.
