In 0,38, i could launch my videos with out pb, during a diaporama etc... ; i can't, i have to right clic and choose "play with associated program"
And one more big problem, i can not delete pictures from Full Screen and Intermediate Screen. Deleting is just possible from thumbnail view and it ask me all the time if i am sure (no pb with 0,38)

1st report, Confirmed, videos (flv and mp4) don't play when double clicking on them in Browse mode.
2nd report, Confirmed, delete key will not delete pictures in Fullscreen mode, however right-click menu -> Delete works and deleting the image from Browser mode window works fine.
Update to 1st report reply:
"avi" and "mkv" videos seem to play fine in the Preview pane however will not open in the View mode window.
MKV thumbnails are missing but that's probably an issue with Haali Media Splitter.
Video controls are also missing (Play, Stop, Pause)
XnViewMP 0.39 x64 beta under Windows 7 SP1 x64 with UAC enabled and Standard user account.

I have no problem, are you sure that Del key is with delete function?And one more big problem, i can not delete pictures from Full Screen and Intermediate Screen. Deleting is just possible from thumbnail view and it ask me all the time if i am sure (no pb with 0,38)

hi, delete image function is also not working for me. as I run xnview on macbook air with os x lion I don't have delete button only the backspace. nevermind that under 'file' there is stated that 'delete' should work with 'backspace' it's not working. neither in fullscreen or view mode.
i've tried to change the delete function shortcut into cmd+d and it works so it's really interesting why it's not working with backspace.

Same for me running 0.39 on an Imac with macosx 10.7.3. and am using a wireless keyboard with just a "delete" key, it does not have a backspace key.
From browser mode "delete" button does not work I have to use "fn + delete" combination to delete a picture/file..
Also when I left click on a picture in the browser mode I get the option to del showing as an "x" inside a box with a triangle to the right.
Changing the delete function in the settings to for example "command + d" doesn't work either, I can set that but when I use that combo it does something different, but it does not delete a selected picture.
I also notice that I cannot set the "delete" button by itself, when I'm in settings / shortcuts and select any shortcut and then try to set the "delete" button to that shortcut xnviewmp does not see/accept that, no reaction.
Trying to set any other key seems to work though.
Also I cannot play video by doubleclicking a mov file. I get a preview window which I cannot increase. To play I have to select the movie (which automatically triggers the preview window to play the preview) and then I have to right click the magic mouse to get a menu option to "open with associated program F3". It then opens Quicktime whilst still running the preview window as well so I have to close that preview window first or select a non movie and then go back to Quicktime to actually see the movie.
Btw Key F3 doesn't work either.
