XnView crashes on DB use.

Hello,

XnView crashes repeadetly when accessing the XnView.db file. At least this is my conclusion after searching for the reason why it would work sometimes and sometimes not. If I delete XnView.db I can view a single picture with the setting - Fullscreen Viewer. I have a two monitor setting, so the picture is actually fullscreen on the second monitor and the browser is open on the first.

If I close the program and open it with another picture it silently crashes. No message is show.

If I change the Startmode to "Fullscreen Editor" I can view the picture (alas not on the second monitor) and close XnView without problems. But it crahes when I try to open the browser.

Everything works for one picture after deleting XnView.db. This file gets created even I have disabled the thumbnail cache.

The PC is in a domain and the settings (AppData/Roaming) are on a remote server (it is used directly without a drive letter). But even moving the DB to a local folder does not change the behavior.

On my home PC the problem is not present, but it's neither in a domain nor has it a second monitor.

What informations are neccessary to solve this problem ?

Try to remove the xnview.db & xnview.db-journal

I did not found xnview.db-journal, but after deleting xnview.db again it works for now.

If it happens again, I'll be back
