File List totally ignored

Hello there

My search in the forum didn't helped me and so I hope to find help here.

XNview totally ignores the file types I choose in the File List-options dialogue. I noticed it first when xnview showed me textfiles in the list. But I did made a test now and even when I uncheck every file type, it still shows me ALL file types.

Here's an example with the option dialogue opened. Usually I have checked Images, Video Files, AI/PS/PDF files and the custom files at the bottom for some more video file types.

Is there any kind of setting I didn't noticed? Really hate to delete my whole thumbnailcache just 'cause there will be hundreds of thumbnails in it from files I do not want.

after playing some around and setting a lot of things back and forth... i uninstalled XNview totally and reinstalled it very fresh.

Now the problem is gone. Maybe after all that upgrading from since i'm using xnview it somehow messed something up.
