Display german charakter set

With which character set the XML file written?

An Example:
I write in IPTC-Standort: Sägmühlenweg
XMP is following: photoshop:Location>Sägmühlenweg
In another Viewer with UTF 8: S�gm�hlenweg
and the same in ISO 8859-1: S�gm�hlenweg


Is it possible that the umlauts (Ä, Ö, Ü ....) display correctly?

XMP use utf8, i've checked XMP data in XnViewMP, and text is good...
Do you use last version?

I had "XnView 1.98.2" used

The text I wrote in "Metadaten/IPTC-Daten"
The text is in "IPTC / Ursprung / Standort" displayed properly

The error is seen only in "Ansicht/Vorschaubereich/XMP"

Ok, i understand. The displaying is very simple for XMP, if you want to use XMP, please check XnViewMP
