Show if folder really empty

When looking into directory for which no files (or subfolders) are shown in the file list it would be helpful to have an indication if that folder is really empty or contains only items not shown due to option settings. For instance the file list could show "<Empty>" if the folder is really empty.

This is a variation of the suggestion "Empty folders greyed out/italic".
