1) Folder list in Folder Pane does not stay put 2) Cannot show .lnk files

1) Every time I click on a folder in the side pane (with Folder Pane active), the whole tree slides in to the right, as if hiding itself behind the image view pane. This does not occur and never occurred in 1.98.2.

2) MP 0.39 cannot read .lnk files (shortcuts) of Windows Explorer, either as a list or as thumbnails, details, etc. The same happened when I first installed 1.98 some 2-3 years ago, but I do not remember whether the correction resulted from some correct configuration I might have done, and, in this case, which configuration was it.

Can I correct each item with some specific configuration?
