- option for caching more than 1 picture in front and behind to improve performance when viewing through pictures very fast (now there is a short delay)
- using boarder effects and transparent frame masks for easy picture modifiing (look at faststone viewer - it has nice effects)
- using a clone/repair tool would be nice for those who don´t use Photoshop for easy corrections (look this at faststone viewer too

- menu bars which pop up at the screen if moving the mouse to the screensides in fullscreen mode (faststone viewer...)
- there are so many browser layouts available and they look almost the same but one is missing: it is not possible to have the thumbnail pane vertical over the whole screen.
- file association is strange - example: if setting .ai format not to associate, xnview doesn´t remember the setting (.ai is not associated anyhow)

Yes, this is a good idea. Perhaps the user could also optionally specify the buffer size for each direction. In that case the number of images cached would differ based on image sizes.Number_1 wrote:
