at least that saves me from having to go thro the dropdown window procedure which is pretty laborious

Strange, I though it was about the problem.

Nearly every other app such as XnView has an '' actual size '' shortcut button - ie Photoshop- not strictly a valid comparison I agree, - ACDSee, iview, thumbsplus, faststone etc etc, so I am sorry you think this suggestion is '' quite useless '' :o

I also do not want to '' play '' up and down the print options to achieve that result.

However I have been given a solution to my request. :D
