could you send me a sample file?biley wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 6:06 am I just tested the Linux version with Wayland KDE on Arch.
On my testing the program no longer crashes on video, and plays h264 and vp9 video codecs fine but doesn't play av1. With av1, the sound plays but there are no visuals.
I also noticed there was sometimes inconsistent sound volume when flipping back and forth between two videos. Sometimes the volume was loud and sometimes the volume played normally. The occurrence of the loud volume seemed random.
Thanks for working on this.

The attached file for example. It was originally a .webm file but I had to rename it as a .mp4 to be able to attach it in this platform.
It plays fine on my system as a .webm or a .mp4 in VLC or version 1.9.2 of xnviewmp, but in the beta of version 1.11.4 I don't get any visuals.
It does print the error messages:
[av1 @ 0x56521052b6c0] Your platform doesn't support hardware accelerated AV1 decoding.
[av1 @ 0x56521052b6c0] Failed to get pixel format.
[av1 @ 0x56521052b6c0] Get current frame error
If that helps.
