Icon for XnView Application

I have been a long time user of XNVIEW on Windows I'm now converting to Linux. I installed the 1.68.1 version today and it appears to work. Is there a way to put an Icon on my desktop or application bar. I am on SuSE9.0. I can start xnview from the console fine. But I'd like a desktop Icon.
