Small Categories/Favourites improvement?

These panels are empty at first use. Maybe it is good to put a text there like "Use right mouse button to display panel options. Drag and Drop onto panel items, to assign categories/set favourites" or something similar?
Text would disappear after creation of first element in panel.

I believe there are none in Beta 5.

I think "> Family" is enough, sub-categories are not needed here.

Since XnView is "an efficient multimedia viewer, browser and converter", I suggest also some audio/music.
