Hello and thanks for the excellent proggy.

My question is that as I open the picture of a directory and then move from one to another, these are shown in xnview alphabetically. I would like to avoid that and when I am on a directory which contains various files including zip files, doc files and jpg files, I want to display only the image files (and nothing else) and I would like the image files to be displayed in the order that they appear on the directory (not in alphabetic order).

To customise displayed files, you have option/Browser/Items displayed
And currently there is no way to not sort files...
