How do I get XnView to launch only 1 instance?

Post by mike »

I'm looking at XnView for the first time, looking for a replacement for PaintShop Pro which has gotten seriously bloated. I tried Paint.Net but that is lacking features I need.

So far I like XnView but one question

Even though XnView appears to be a MDI application, being able to view multiple images in a single instance of itself every time I click on an image in explorer or launch an image from an application like my newsreader, Agent, it launches a new instance of XnView.

Is there a way I can get it to load the image in the already loaded instance of XnView?

I'm using WinXP SP2 with all the updates and the latest XnView
thanks
mike
