b1: crash if selecting .txt file for multi-page PDF

...but isn't it possible to have a better handling of non-usable files while creating those PDF?
(ie: checking files beforehand, displaying a single alert message if there are many problematic files and asking to proceed (or not) with other good files)

True. But I think the most important for those tools is to work correctly (before looking for speed/efficiency).
