Batch scanning: Standard placeholders in filename

Post by helmut »

In the setting of the Batch Scanning (File > Acquire into...) there's options to build the filename. Rather than having special options I'd like to see the standard placeholders known from Batch Rename insertable (e.g., <Current date>).

XnView 1.82.4 and 1.90 b2.

I'm needing a "batch scanning" filename that has the incrementing number in the MIDDLE of the filename not the LAST part of the name before the ".jpg". What I want is similar to the following example:

"foobar 0001 suffix-goes-here.jpg"

where I specify the "foobar" and "suffix-goes-here" but XnView inserts the incrementing number.

Is this possible?

Best regards!
