Save changed… dialogue, tick box dead

Post by Clo »

:) Hello !

• When the "Save changed file" dialogue appears and that you tick the box [x] Never ask again, this is not saved.
- The next time the dialogue is displayed again and again and again… :(

Accuracy---

Post by Clo »

 Pierre

:) Hello !

• An accuracy to explain why the new behaviour is inconvenient for me - and maybe for others too :

• Many times daily, I make a capture and I paste it in “View”, but I need only to copy a small part of it to use elsewhere.
- Hence, I do not save the <Clipboard-x> and that damn message comes back endlessly ! Why ?
- Because I'm bound to close XnView - let's say to use another version to convert a format or so-
the current behaviour sucks a lot…
- For unknown reasons, I can't open several versions as a single INSTANCE of each, I get again the same version
- A single Registry key doesn't the trick in my case…
- This is another topic, but linked to the current one here.
- So, I request again an INI option to keep the message disabled through the sessions, please !

Ahhh !

:) Hello !

• Thank you ! This should solve the issue !

- But, please, do you mean Always yes = always disabled ?

- On the message itself, a 3-state box could be used…

the 3-state box ?

Post by Clo »

:) Thank you, so my update in the Manual is right ;)

• For later, what about the 3-state tick box on the message ?
- Can you use this component ? It's really useful in such cases (no more room needed)…
