Small delay in Viewer when switching images (Cache, no HQ)

Post by Olivier_G »

With Options>View>Misc>'Keep current image in cache' and 'Read one image ahead' = ON.
...and Options>View>no HQ at all.

Open an image A in Viewer (and wait for next image B to be cached)
-> if you move slowly between A and B, switching is immediate.
-> but if you move quickly between A and B, there is a small delay before switching (it shouldn't as Caching in on interruptible thread).

Note: it is not exactly as in this topic as the delay happens here in Low quality and not in the other topic + Viewer and Browser have different mechanisms.

Please postpone, the view mode cache must be rewrited in next release!
