Season's bug ?

Post by Clo »

:) Hello !

• An oddness or :bug: ?

1. Copy any image in the Clipboard…

2. Import Clipboard

3. Ask for “Save as…”. On the dialogue tick the box Keep original date¦time attributes

4. Save the NEW file in a folder you notice alright…

5. Go to see your new file in a file-manager :
- Here today December, 23rd. 2006, the file is set as November, 8th. 2003 !
- In previous versions, I even noticed such new files set as 1980…Good luck to found out the files then !

• IMHO, when saving a new file made with Import Clipboard, the above-mentioned option might be ignored !
- Currently, I'm bound to disable it permanently because I create a lot of screen shots, and need to get the right date¦time.

Greetings,
It is both. And a very curious one:
I got the years 28,935 and 1617 and the file original in other cases!!

And a twist: If you close file before importing clipboard, it behaves differently.

---> Confirmed

Saving clipboard uses current date and time now. It is fixed for me.
