Batch Rename Selection bug

After renaming 15 files with Batch Rename, the first 4 files are unselected while the remaining files are selected.
All of the original files should be selected!

I'm not quite sure whether this is related or not:

With XnView default settings (xnview.ini previously removed):

In a folder with multiple files I batch rename 6 files from blubber## to blubber###. After renaming, the first file in the folder is selected and none of the renamed files.
