XnView for MAC-- just downloaded it and it won't open!

Can anyone help? I just downloaded Xnview for Mac OSX and when i click it to open, nothing happens except the bar at the top of the screen says "XnView" for a few seconds, then says "Finder" again. How do I make this work?

i'm going to guess you're on an intel mac? if so, there still isn't a universal binary for this app yet. you have to have x11 installed on your computer (it's on your OSX disk that came with your computer). then you'll have to check some of the other posts to see how to make it work. because it doesn't just open even after you have x11 installed.

i love this app on windows. absolutely the best viewer out there. but i sure wish he'd hurry up with a macintel version.

Same problem. Zip doesn´t work Stuffit or The Unarchiver.
They said file is damaged.
Mac is not Intel.
