Any chance we can get XnView to play .divx files? After all a .divx file is just a AVI encoded with DivX.
Also, make sure you can't associate XnView with .divx files because I can see problems arising from people who prefer the DivX Player.
Also, I was meaning to ask you Pierre. Does XnView's video player use a overlay mixer or VMR9 mixer? My guess is a overlay mixer.

I don't understand, if you have codec, you can play divx files...ckit wrote:Any chance we can get XnView to play .divx files? After all a .divx file is just a AVI encoded with DivX.

Let's see if I can make it clearer...xnview wrote:I don't understand, if you have codec, you can play divx files...ckit wrote:Any chance we can get XnView to play .divx files? After all a .divx file is just a AVI encoded with DivX.
example.avi (divx 5.x encoded) -> plays in xnview
example.divx (divx 5.x encoded) -> xnview launches DivX Player instead!
I would like the later to be played in xnview instead of using DivX Player.
