Toolbar buttons Prev/Next hides if image is small enough

When I'm viewing a large enough image I am able to press one of two toolbar buttons: Previous File / Next File - they are visible both.

But when I gone to another file (after pressed one of the buttons) which is small enough - these buttons get hidden from me and mouse moves to an "empty" place where a button should be, but it is not. I click and ... activate another application.

A suggestion could be to move the buttons to the left and set a necessary minimum window width, or whateva else :)
