Re: SE: (Lossless) Flip / Rotate
Anyone?
At least these 3 (customizable) menu items would be useful:
- rotate left (lossless automatically for JPEG)
- rotate right (lossless automatically for JPEG)
- rotate based on EXIF value
Very important is to change both - image and thumbnail, the same as in main XnView.

Lossless rotation might make sense in the XnView Shell extension. But flipping is sort of image manipulation, which should not be put into the XnView Shell extension. The Shell extension should remain slim and slick.

Right, it's very old suggestion, I don't need flip either, but rotate is a basic operation and it's very important IMO.

Re: SE: (Lossless) Flip / Rotate
Added in the latest beta.
It works good, but "Rotate based on EXIF tag" opens the image in XnView.
Moved to "1.97 Testing - Feedback".

Order of menu items
Currently, menu items for rotation are in the order:
1 - Rotate +90
2 - Rotate based on EXIF tag
3 - Rotate -90
The order should be the same as in XnView, i.e. first left rotation (-90), second right rotation (+90). EXIF based rotation has little to do with the manual rotation, so it should be first or last in the order:
1 - Rotate -90
2 - Rotate +90
3 - Rotate based on EXIF tag
1 - Rotate +90
2 - Rotate based on EXIF tag
3 - Rotate -90
