thumbnail selection color

Post by robc »

Am I mistaken or there's no way to customize the thumbnail selection color, that is the color of the thin border around the selected thumbnail(s)? the labels are in the correct Windows theme selection color, while the border is fixed to a blue hue.

Have you tried Options -> Thumbnails -> Appearance -> Border ?

Here, we have a facility to change the width of the border and also it's color.
I am a lazy person, always searching for ways to avoid work and still manage the show !

My System : Win XP SP2 + XnView standard English version

Thanks Pierre.

No, murthy363, thanks, but that's the thumb border, if any: I meant the border that appears when you select the thumb and, as Pierre said, there's currently no way of changing it.

Tha ability to choose a hilight color would be great. Also, I think that the border around the entire thumbnail cartouche should be hilighted, not just the interior.

Here is how it might look. The upper left cartouche is how a selected thumb looks currently on my system. The other three show the proposed change in the border hilighting and also "custom" highlight colors.
