Req: Snapshot rectangle / freehand

Could it be possible to implement a better snapshot functionality.

I thought about a "rectangle" or "freehand" snapshot.
Or there could be a list-snapshot to e.g. grab large explorer lists.

I found a tool able to do that all at faststone.org
But I'd like to have that functions within XnView.
