I was curious about your proposed solution and did a little snooping around on Ghistler's sites:
TotalcmdWiki: (Lister) wrote:Extensions
Additional file formats can be supported in Lister using:
- Lister plugins: Install them in the Lister Configuration dialog, you'll be able to load many non-standard formats in Plugins mode.
- IrfanView and XnView: Check corresponding option in the Lister Configuration dialog, you'll be able to load graphics other than BMP in Image/Multimedia mode.

In panels
• Indeed TC can display the thumb nails in the panels, provided by XnView (or else).
• Just look at the TC TUTORIAL
• Also described (for short) in our XnView Manual.
- Nothing to do with the “Lister” view you quote, this is another function…
BTW : The TC-Wiki is not really the good place to get such an info…
- I didn't even add a French section, that sucks, and I've no time to spend at this.

Thank you, thank you,Clo wrote:You win the Golden Medal of the TC-Tutos Trackers !
... but I'm afraid I don't even deserve the bronze medal, as I wasn't able to come up with a screen grab of Total Commander with integrated XnView.
