show Hidden folders IF you are IN one

Post by eweryboooody »

Currently if you browse in a subfolder somewhere in the user data,
the tree view of the xnview browser expands to the last visible folder and not further.

if you do this in the explorer all folders if hidden or not are expanded to the current location so you can actually browse in a maybe NOT hidden subfolder.

I quite often have the problem with image sequences:

folder (hidden)
_L subfolder
__L imagefolder1
__L imagefolder2
__L imagefolder3
__L imagefolder4

so if I'm in one of that imagefolders i cannot see the neightbor folders in tree view wich is very uncomfortable. (in windows explorer i could!)

I'd suggest to adapt the behaviour of the explorer tree view here and show the hidden folders if you're actually in a subfolder!
