Better SVG support?

Post by raducoc »

SVG is a standard into the vector graphics market who, day by day is used more and more. Opera and Firefox have native support for this kind of files, but I cant find a good free and standalone SVG viewer. So, I think will be very handly to integrate a more advanced SVG library into XnView, to suport real vector graphics. A good and open source SVG library is AGG: http://antigrain.com/svg/index.html. I hope this can be implemented into XnView. Also please add support for SVGZ files (ones produced by Inkscape).

Vector graphics photo files (viewer and generator) are very interesting for the near futur (for large sizes and posters with few Mega Bytes ).

Me too please I support, I cannot get that shareware plugin rubbish to work on my Xnview, plus the method of having it as a plugin I don't like. Native support of SVG and maybe some other cad formats via an open source library like the one brought up above would be GREAT :)

please Pierre, seriously consider implementing for next release
