crash when started from lotus notes and using next file?

Post by klaus2 »

- Lotus Notes (more general: from other ole embedding app too?);
embedded (attached) jpg file seen as file name and file extension (jpg) icon

- jpg extension is associated with xnview (1.91.3 or prior)

- dblclick on the file icon; xnview is starting the file in the viewer

- press PgDown for next file -> access violation
Remark: of course there is no next file here, but xnview possibly does not detect that.

can anybody confirm?

yes - only when starting xnview viewer via file ext association from within a lotus notes document.

obviously a get next file api operation (or equivalent) is not applicable here (or a special return code is not yet processed)

all xnview verions, as far as i know

Am i the only one having this problem when starting xnview from a mail client (lotus notes)
by file ext association on an attached image and using (viewer's) next-image ?

Which version of Lotus Notes do you use?

Lotus Notes is mainly used by business people and not so much by private users. So I guess the number of forum users who can answer your question is limited.
