just open the damn file! help!

Just started using XnView. Seems fine except for one pressing flaw - if I choose "Open with ... XnView" (btw, the registered program name - "XnView for Windows 9x/NT/2000/Me/Xp" is unnecessarily long - PLEASE make it "XnView" like any normal program in next release!) in the Windows context menu of a particular file, XnView completely neglects to open that file and instead opens, in full-screen, whichever file is listed first in the containing directory. What on earth use is this and how can I make it behave properly?

alright, found the answer I think elsewhere on this forum.

this is NOT acceptable behaviour for a program though. it makes no sense - it's not what any user expects to happen! PLEASE FIX FOR NEXT RELEASE.
