Behaviour "Edit IPTC data dialog"

Xnview version 1.91.4, Edit IPTC data dialog:

1) What is the difference between "Overwrite all current values" and "Combine new & current values" without any of checkboxes checked . It seems to do the same thing ?


2) Select "Combine new & current values".
Checkbox "add new values to current values" is checked
Checkbox "keep current values if new value is empty" is NOTchecked

> Add keywords to a photo, click on write..no problem..the keywords are added.
> Delete all keywords, click on write...they are all back again. Here I would assume that all keywords should be deleted ?

"Combine new&current values" don't overwrite all fields
