Convert Problem

Post by stuart »

Hi

I am trying to use XnView to make some thumbnails. I clicked on "Convert" and on "advanced operations" I selected "Resize". When I tried to add a folder the files are not selected.

I then noticed the pictures are all in the .JPEG format. I know the program accepts .jpeg files, but isn't .JPEG different or something? Other file's work that are.jpg so I'm sure I'm not doing anything wrong.

Should the .JPEG files open in the program or not? Sorry if this question has already been asked but I searched for it and nothing came up.

I'd be gratefull if anyone can help me.

The pictures in your folder are in .jpeg, and the "Add folder" doesn't add it?

No and they also dont add .jpe files. Does the program support pictures in the .jpe format or not? I'm not worried about the .jpeg files, just the .jpe files.

I'll add the .jpe extension.
