ckit, I can't confirm this for XnView 1.91.4 (30/Aug/2007) with fotoframe.8bf (14/Jul/2007) on Windows 2000 SP4.

Are msvcrt10.dll and/or plugin.dll installed on your system?

msvcrt10.dll = nope
plugin.dll = nope (is this a MS DLL or XnView DLL?)

I'll run a search on Google for msvcrt10.dll but it sounds like a really old DLL.

Thanks, I now have both those files in my \Windows\System32 folder (I created a really cool winrar sfx installer for them)

I'm now getting "Memory Violation" errors and "Unexpected Null" errors with the plugin, it's a write-off really.

The AAA 8BFs were “generated by FilterMeister”. According to Harald Heim (The Plugin Site) such filters do not require any special DLL files.

Is Data Execution Prevention activated on your system?

For some reason, I have no problems with XnView 1.91.5 pre-release.

I did have the same crash with PhotoFiltre Studio 9.0.0 until I disabled DEP for PFS executable and now everything is fine.

So far, DEP causes more crashes than it prevents! LMAO :)
