Multiuser Across a Peer to Peer Network?

Post by RRRick »

Can anyone tell me if XnView can share it's databases between different users on a home network? No dedicated server - just using a network share to serve up images on one computer for a user on that computer and a different user on another computer.

Simultaneous access is usually the killer but a configuration for one user at a time would work fine. I don't fully understand what information the XnView databases hold but if a remote user could access them across the network then wouldn't this work?

I know there are high end programs that do this but, in general, they are big, clunky and slow - with features I would never use. XnView is fast with a simple, fairly intuitive interface - it would be perfect with this feature. Is it?

Try to change location of DB (option/integration/Other files)
