GPF when adding IPTC keywords

Hi,
XnView crashes when I add IPTC keywords to more than 6-7 jpg files.
I'm using Windows 98. The error message is the following (sorry it's in italian):

XNVIEW ha provocato un errore di pagina non valida nel
modulo XNVIEW.EXE in 015f:00424054.
