Change Timestamp in RAW files

I have a CANON 350D and when I try to change Timestamp of RAW files (.CR2) appears two problems:
1. EXIF information doesn't appears in dialog box.
2. EXIF information can't be changed. Only can be File created and modificated date.

I tested some RAW files from a Nikon camera (.NEF) and the problem is the same.
Does anyone know why it happen?[/img]

Yes, EXIF date can only be changed for jpeg
