Global conversion of files

Post by tzud »

I have 9000 tif pix which I want to convert to jpeg to fit on a single (?) DVD. Can the tif files be converted with a single command or must they be converted folder by folder?

No branch view…

:) Hello !

• I guess that it should need a “Branch” (flat) view, without any tree structure,
AFAIK that's not supported to choose all files to convert as one go.

• Hence, I think that you'll have to add the folders one by one onto the convert box… Good luck !

- BTW : You might try to define prior the total size in order to make you sure that it fits in the DVD …

Maybe it would work if you in the menu -under "View"- select "Show files in subfolders". Then all files would be displayed.

Yes it is possible.

Select all the folders in the browser you want to convert and call "Batch convert" Ctrl+U.

Or, just open the "Batch convert" dialog and press "Add folder..." button and point it to the folder where all the files and dirs are.
