I noticed that several ICO files are very badly displayed by XnView.
I can provide with sample file on request !

Hello !
• The topic that angers…
• Icons are a file-type for which I use XnView a lot. I've been on the Pierre's back during a decade
to get the transparency at display…
- After a lot of rows (and a mountain of messages, private and here in several threads) we got this finally
in the “Browser preview” and in “View”.
- But not in a board of thumbnails, Pierre said it's impossible. Still the damned black BG.
- Please notice that now all icons are processed and displayed as 32 BPP, even the ones which are not.
• Some issues remain still :
- The new chequered pattern (to represent the transparency) doesn't work for icons in an ICL and a multi-page TIFF…
- The new (huge) “Vista” icons (PNG-compressed) are not supported yet…
… and some other minor hitches I don't remember on the moment.
- It's always good to get the five-legged sheeps to test whether you have some ones
