:?: am i missing something or does the program not support pi2 file extenstions. in the options, there is no listing for that file type yet on the website it says that the program supports it. if anyone can offer an opinion that would be great.

:) Hello !

“degas ¦ Degas & Degas Elite ¦ pi2
is alright listed as supported at reading and writing like shown HERE.
- Unfortunately, I don't own such files (old, I guess…) to check.

- I think that a¦some sample¦s is¦are desirable…

 Kind regards,

Please have a look at FAQ "Does XnView support graphic format .xyz?". Especially marsh's hint should be interesting.

Pi2 Files help

Post by EdwardM »

I have not been able to get plug in or make program show pi2 files. The above posts say to go to General>Starup to check the required box. I have not been able to find where that may be in version 1.90.4. Can anyone help?
Thanks

The option was relocated in version 1.9:
Options... General>Operations Tab>[x]Display all image file types.

PI2 Files

Post by EdwardM »

Thanks I checked off the box but still no viewing of pi2 files. I reinstalled XnView-full & installed the plugin Zip file. None of this worked. The plugin directory does not have anything like pi2 or degas dlls. Is there somewhere else I can go for the needed plugin or am I missing something?
Thanks

PI2 is Degas format, perhaps you have Protrait innovation files (crypt format)
