1.91.6 Display bug: text information in 100% view

Hi all,

i have setup some information that i can display with "I" key. Problem is when i zoom to 100% view (* key) and move the mouse around, the text "smears" across the screen like this:


Seems like an overlay bug. I have a AMD Athlon64 3700+ processor, 1 GB RAM, Ati Radeon X800 GTO graphics card with latest ATI catalyst drivers ... funny enough, it works on my Intel office pc with a Radeon7000 and catalyst drivers.

Any thoughts on this?

thanks so much for you reply. I just found and picked up 1.92 beta 3 and will try again this evening and reply if i was successful or not.

Hi,

i tried 1.92 beta yesterday and it worked perfectly with this one.

Now here comes the funny thing: i started 1.91.6 again to see if the error is still there and indeed it was. Then i jumped to the options screen and played around a bit with the information display settings ... changed to a different font (Courier new instead of Courier) and *BANG* it worked in 1.91.6 too! I changed back to Courier and it STILL worked.
I did not have time to look into that more deeply, but i will this weekend.
