Thumbnail handling in lossless JPEG transformations

Post by Marcus Sundman »

It would be nice to be able to choose what to do with the embedded thumbnail when doing a lossless JPEG transformation.

The options could be:
  • perform the same transformation on the thumbnail
  • remove the thumbnail
  • don't do anything to the thumbnail

Think that's a good idea and an important feature which should be supported, soon. Rotating the JPG image and leaving the thumbnail unchanged is only half the job. ;-)

Thank you, Marcus.

Let me add two more options:
  • regenerate thumbnail if one exists
  • (re)generate thumbnail regardless of if one exists or not
