Batch rename - wrong sort order

Post by Guest »

Hi!

I am using the batch rename feature with sorting by date. A problem occurs when several images have exactly the same time stamp which occurs when shooting a series of images, for example to capture some sports scene. In this case, the sort result is wrong. However, the correct order is included in the file names like DSC_1678, DSC_1679, DSC_1680 and so on.

I think XnView should sort files with the same time stamp by their file name by default.

Do you use the popup menu to sort list?
Pierre.
