Of course XnView is the first instance a ImageViewer, and the implemented video support does it's job very well. But as I use a DigiCam I make a lot of videos, so that's a important part of XnView for me, possible also for the majority of the users. So there a two things I would be happy if they get implemented.
At first I dislike the control bar ("Reglerleiste"). It's too big in height. Because of it's size a lot of space gets lost for stretched videos. I think it would be better when the control bar would be small in height and 100% in width. Here's an impression:

Of couse the MPC-look doesn't matter, but a bar like that uses space much more efficient, escpecially in full screen.
The other suggestion is to add an A-B Section feature (setting a A and a B point, and between that points the video gets looped.). This feature is the only one I really miss in XnView in compare with ACDSee. I hope compares are allowed here

So, I hope that this suggestions are expedient for you, if not XnView is cool, anyway.
