JPG files that are not recognised by XnView

Post by shermand »

I have a number of jpg files that xNview browser only displays as strings of text. Windows Picture and Fax viewer displays them as pictures.

I can't see a way to attach an example to this post.

Can I email an example to someone?

FixPicture might be a helpful diagnostic tool as well as a service. Can you view image in browser like Firefox?

Other programs that will display the pictures

Post by shermand »

I can open the pictures with:
* Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
* Paint
* Micrografx Picture Publisher
* Internet Explorer
* Microsoft Office picture Manager
It is only xNview that fails to display the pictures.
Of course, all bar one of these programs come from the Microsoft stable.

Could you send me the file?
